| Students new to Plant High school Chorus begin in one of our two non-auditioned groups. These groups learn how to be a part of a choral program, work with lighter musical scores, learn sightreading, expand vocal range and learn performance criteria. The non-auditioned choirs are involved in most all performances including Fall, Winter and Spring Concerts, Feeder school performances, Madrigals, District Festivals, Senior Showcase/Finale, and a new performance added this year “Girl’s night out”. Students participating can also earn extra merit points toward their Chorus letter. Students in these choruses are usually not eligible for Tour until their second year. |
